Jordan Place, DO

Hometown: Luxemburg, WI, and Armada, MI
Undergraduate: Saginaw Valley State University
Medical School: MSU COM
Hobbies: Scrapbooking every detail of my life, reading murder mysteries, camping/hiking/kayaking with my husband and dog, making to-do lists, lifting heavy objects at the gym, eating breakfast foods at all hours of the day, updating my 5-year-plan
Advice to Medical Students: First, comparison is the thief of joy. Constantly measuring yourself against your peers will convince you that are falling behind (even when you aren't) and will distract you from your "why". Stay the course, worry about you, and the rest will fall into place. Second, choose a career path that you honestly believe will bring you personal fulfillment long-term. Everything else is secondary.
