Abby House, MD

Hometown: Rock Falls, IL
Undergraduate: Augustana
Medical School: Ross University School of Medicine
Hobbies: Running, cooking, knitting, piano, hiking, playing with my kids!
Advice to Medical Students: I was once told by one of my preceptors that "surgery is a contact sport." Well, so is EM. So suspend your fears, get your game face on, get in there, and get dirty! You have to get involved and get out of your comfort zone to show your interest in the specialty. Once you accomplish that, others who love the specialty will take note and will be willing to teach and help you out.
